Built on a 1995 Chevy Silverado chassis, t drives and handles like a new truck. The 5.7/350 fuel injected vortec engine with the 4L60E transmission is makes the truck super quick like nobody's business. Handles like a dream.
I built this truck to do the Power Tour, o reliability and looks were at the forefront on the list. If you don't like people looking at you, iving you the thumbs up or stopping to engage you in conversation, his is not the truck for you.
Draws attention everywhere it goes.
The truck rides on new (200 miles) wide whitewall G78-15 bias ply tires and is setting at the perfect stance, ith a slightly low nose down attitude. The tires fill the wheel-wells perfectly.
Trouble Free Fuel Injected 5.7/350 Vortec 4L60E Automatic
Under the hood the fuel injected 5.7/350 vortec has been treated with all new fuel injection components, istributor, luminum radiator with thermostatically controlled pusher fan, ew water pump and belt, nd high finned aluminum valve covers and air cleaner. A recent compression test shows 180-182 PSI on ALL cylinders. All fluids and filters just changed. New front brakes and rotors as well. Firewall was smoothed and new inner fenderwells were installed.
The complete engine wiring harness and the total truck harness were replaced. The engine harness is by LS1wiring harness and the main harness is by Painless and is GM with 28 circuits. This allows you to add power windows, ocks, nd a ton more.
Super Nice Interior
Inside you surround yourself with a traditional, ut super nice interior, ith a headliner. New 3 point seatbelts are also installed. The interior was completely treated to the HD dynamat sound deadener so the ride is quiet. The stock gauges were gutted and VDO units were custom fitted. The gauges faces were also custom designed and fitted. The speedo is driven by a Dakota digital cable driver. Stock GM tilt wheels rounds it out.
Hand Painted Pinstripes
The cab corners were replaced and the body sprayed with HOK epoxy sealer and is ready to do you fauxtina or leave it like it is. Looks super right now and the professionally hand painted pinstripes highlight the old school look.

Looks super right now. As full disclosure, he passenger side windshield has a star in it. I left it there as it adds character to the truck.
