Description for Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 1970

1970 Chevrolet K10 SWB StepsidePickup, riginal Paint (Medium Green) Original 292 I6 Engine, speed transmission.

This is a super nice 1970 Chevrolet K10 pickup. This truck is all original and carries it's matching numbers engine, ransmission and rear end. This is a very solid truck original black plate truckfromCalifornia which I am the2nd owner of. This truck was found in a barn in San Juan Bautista, A then brought toTexas. We have gone over this truckcompletely and replacedall of the coolingsystem hoses, rive belt, adiator, arburetor, attery, aster cylinder and installed five brand new 7.10 x 15 LT tires on it. A new exhaust system was installedfrom the manifold back with 2 1/2" single pipe into a Flowmaster 50 series that exits through the factory style tail pipe. The bumpers, heels, nd mirrors were removed and powder coateda cream color that really makes this truckpop. The wheel liners where removed along with a few under hood pieces and sent to the powder coater to be cleaned up andgiven a satin black coating. This really cleaned things up under the hood. On the inside of the truck a new factory style seatcover was installed along with a new factory style rubberfloor mat, ew padded dashand steering wheel where installedand the instrument cluster was restored. The paint on the truck is the original paint that was professionally buffedand turned out amazingwith the Patina that the truck shows. After the truck was shined up it really needed new emblems and lenses. All of the emblems and lenses have been replaced and really cleaned the outside of the truck up. The bed wood is original and in great condition.

Everything on this truck works and works properly. The transfer case shifts smoothly and the locking hubs turn freely. It has the ever popular M20 4 speed transmission with the famous Granny Low first gear. It shifts smoothly through all four gears. This thing is a stump puller with the factory 292 6 cylinder engine. The motor runs great and starts up the first time every time. The engine does smoke slightly after it gets warmbut nothing that was alarming enough to pull it apart. I have run this truck all over town and it cruises at 60mph effortlessly. The truck is virtually rust free. The floors and underside look brand new. There are three places on the truck that do show somerust however. Theright front of thepassenger fender under the battery, he right rear of the passenger fender and the rear of the passenger door. None of this is terrible and it doesn't take away from thetruck at all.
