This Impala is a true survivor!!!I am the second owner. I bought it from the estate of my best friend from High School after his mother (the original owner) passed away. It is unmodified. all original. it still has the original generator (not Alt). not everything works ie: radio. It is 52 years old. A couple years ago when I bought it I drove it from my home town in Kansas back to the Chicago area where I reside now. It burns oil. the engine has never been rebuilt and my plan was to do that next summer. The transmission has been rebuilt.
