1956 CHEVY NOMAD PROJECT CAR.

SHORT STORY; I purchased this car a year ago in North Carolina. This car is almost a number one rated car before the accident. The owner let his son drive it and it got away from him & he hit a pole behind the passenger door pushing in the quarter and roof. Needless to say the dad was sick. The insurance company paid a claim of $60,000.00 and the car went to the pool. The owner bought it back with the intentions of doing another restoration but got caught up in another vehicle instead. This is how I wound up with it when it went up for sale. I brought it back to Michigan and sent I to a frame shop, ulled out the roof and quarter and is ready for a new quarter to be installed. This bump project cost a bit more than $2,000.00 so that's done.

Recently I had an accident fell off a ladder and shattered my hip so with the pain and surgery I think my days of restoring cars are over. This car is so nice as you can see in the first picture.
