I am listing a1968 Chevrolet Impala 'Super Sport' custom coupe for a friend. This is a 39,000 mile, nrestored Garage Kept Survivor. It has the original interior, arpet & headliner in excellent condition. It has the original drive train with numbers matching 327/275 engine and Turbo-hydro matic 400 transmission. It has the original vinyl top. Original paint preservation of Ash Gold. Original owners Protecto-Plate, roadcast Sheet, hipping Receipt and Owner's Manual. This car still has 3 of the 4 original headlights! Even the original trunk mat! Purchased new at Van-T Chevrolet, opeka Kansas, uly 8, 968. This car is the real deal. Car has new brakes, xhaust, ires (255/60R150 rear 225/70R15 front) and new rally wheels. I do have the original steel wheels with factory wheel covers. Absolutely drives like new. No smoke, rips or leaks. No rattles or squeaks. Everything works as it should. What doesn't work? The clock and air-conditioning. Bumpers are straight and unblemished. Emblems and chrome trim are bright and strait. A beautiful car with full documentation & only driven 4700 miles since 1983. Paint does have some road rash. I have tried to photograph those points of rash (which is minimal for a car of this age). Just aren't many of these cars out there, specially optioned the way this one is. Serious Buyers Only.
