Description for Chevrolet Corvette 1963
This is a 1963 Corvette Convertible that has had a body off the frame restoration, ell almost. The body was removedand the frame was sandblasted and painted. It has new brake lines, uel lines, ody mounts etc. The body was remounted and the car was painted the original color of Riverside Red ( code 923). The car runs excellent with a non matching 350 engine (0010 casting). It is a 4-spd car with no other real options. The black interior is nice, ut it needs new carpeting. The soft top is brand new and it has new top weather stripping, ut some of the other weather stripping needs to be replaced. It has a set of 1967 427/435 hp gauges and some of them are not working. The headlight motors need to be rebuilt. The engine, ransmission, rakes and suspension are all good. The rear bumpers are okay, ut the fronts are dull. The car needs finishing. What I mean is that yes, t has been a long process with a body off restoration and the car runs and drives, ut there is still more work that needs to be done. Things like checking over the electrical system, xhaust tips, arpeting and a few other things need to be finished. There is a lot of time and money in this car, ut it is not a $100,000 restoration of a Bloomington Gold Corvette that I am taking a $50,000 loss on. However, t could still be a nice car for someone or a money maker for a dealer. The underside of this car is better than 95% of the corvettes out there. I am asking very reasonable money for my '63, o please only bid if you are serious. The car is being sold with a transferable registration and a dealer bill of sale that is good in any state. I am also going to sell my matching number 1964 327/365 hp coupe if someone is interested.
