Description for Chevrolet C-10 1965

I ran across this truck and bought it to re-sale. It has had a restoration started and then apparently parked.I will tell you what I know:
1965 C-1O Chevy. Fleet side / short bed with the big back window.

Body: The first thing I noticed was how solid the truck is. The pictures show the very little rust in the floor board and there is a spot in the very lowest point in the LF fender-not bad though. Pics show underneath and truck is solid. Must have been kept in doors part of its life. Body appears to be in very good shape and does not appear that it would take major work to get it perfect. Someone did at one time cut a hole in the roof for a sunroof at some point. Since then it has had a piece of metal welded back into the outside hole. Unfortunate, ut fixable.Glass is in good shape. The drivers side window needs adjusting to roll up and down properly.Driver door needs to be adjusted. No wood or metal strips are in the bed. Tailgate hasbeennicely modified to shut and lock using seat belt latches inside so no ugly chains or apparatus is seen on the outside.Blue dot taillights. Have a set of used molding that goes down the each side and a practically new set of Custom Cab chrome that goes on the cab behind the windows that go with it.

Interior: Bench seat. Tilt wheel steering column. Some gages. No radio. No sun visors. Door rubber not in great shape. Panel for inside of drivers door is included.

Mechanical: 350 V-8 with automatic transmission. Cranks and runs. Smokes a little at start up. Electric fan. Power steering. I have only driven it a mile or so down the road. It seem to run very strong. Transmission shifts. Brakes are very soft feeling. I am sure they will need a complete re-do.Motor has headers. Sounds pretty good. Some type of "mag" wheels.Tires are ok for getting it around.Clear SC title.
