1986 CHEVY SILVERADO 3.4 TON TRUCK- 5.7L- 35, UNS STRONG WITH NO LEAKS OR RUST
CLEAN & CLEAR TITLE FROM 2nd ORIGINAL OWNER AZ OWNER SINCE 1988. I bought it and gave the truck a makeover this June 2015.
This has been a 70 year old mans daily driver since 1988, e has always maintained this truck in great mechanical shape. Stated that his original 350 motor was rebuilt in 2013 and it sure does run great,{328427miles is what it reads,not sure how to tell whats been driven on rebuild}.Ithas original stickers on the air filter breather and in the glove box. Also still has the original jack underneath the hood. Air conditioning blows nice and cold and feels good in AZ weather with tinted windows. Power steering and power breaks keep this truck feeling good on the road, oes not pull or run rough, lso has dual exhaust.
Interior is all original,carpet is good but not show,door panels are good,left door panel is missing a speaker cover and small chrome trim needs hooks.Bench seat is original and in great shape,only has a couple small rips on driver side. I have put a nice seat cover over it now.
The bed of this truck was covered by a camper its whole life,also had plywood and carpet covering whole bed for 28 years, t was a pain pulling all that nasty carpet out and removing all the glue stains from it. This man used it also quite a bit for camping and fishing up in northern AZ he tells me.
The tires are also ne, dash has small crack under dash cover but not bad. All lights and gauges work accept the left gas tank switch, he right tank reads the gas perfect and is only side man has been using.
OVERAL, HIS IS A BEAUTIFUL TRUCK AND HAS HAD A GREAT OWNER FOR THE LAST 28 YEARS With lots of cool stories of where hes been with his truck.
Paint is not show qualit, ut definatley beautiful and gets lots of thumbs up while driving. Never in any accidents until early April of this year, he man backed into his pillar in driveway and dented the rear right panel which i had banged out and fixed. This truck is still 100% metal.Only a tiny bit smoke on start up, ut is gone within 1 minute or less.
