Description for Chevrolet C-10 1968

You are looking at one bad little attention getter and not for the faint of heart. It's a MAN's truck, utit hasall the right attitude. The old saying, Thelower the altitude the bigger the attitude" definitely applies. You can't go to your local grocery store without getting stopped by every dude that has every owned one of thesetruck or ever wanted one. I don't know what it is about this truck but, t just screamsAmerican.

This 1968 C10 is one of a kind with 50 years worth of mother nature's love giving it the perfect paint job. This truck has earned its place in the world with all of its bumps and bruises. Up close you can see the history in the truck with each dent, cratch, nd patch of surface patina. The truck is a work of art.

The trucks legend goes that it came off of a farm somewhere out in Virginia where it tended to the cotton fields and was parked under a tree for what seemed like the death of this truck. Years later a passer by out of Ohio saw the potential that this little short box truck had and took it home to start the work of bringing it back to life. I purchased it sometime after he finished most of the work and brought this Carolina Blue truck home to North Carolina. After breaking in the engine I opened up all the windows in the truck to include the lower kicker vents and took the truck up to 80 MPH. I was amazed to see the old cotton from it life on the farmflooding the floor of the truck. I couldn't believe it,for weeks it would blow out the side vents onto the floor.Theold cotton was proof of the story that was given to me by the builder in Ohio.My truck has spent99% of it lifesomewhere inVirginia.

The truck when I purchased it still had the Radio Delete plate on it. I added an all Alpine Stereo system worth $2,500 which sounds great! The highs and low just resonate through you. It sound and feels better than my 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 stereo. I made sure the installers tucked everything away so you couldn't see it minus the stereo head unit. The truck has hands free capabilities to include Bluetooth. The exhaust is all new magna flow straight piped. It sounds great at idle and going through the Saginaw 4 speedtransmission that's mounted on the floor with the shifter having a nicebench seat bend. The transmission and engine have all been gone through with absolutely zero leaks.

The truck sits on Riddler Rims wrapped in Goodyear tires. The cab of the truck has all new blue interior with old school aircraft lap belts. The interior has billet touches throughout. The truck has very dark tint for those hot summer days, and a nice tilt column steering wheel. Everything works and theheater blows hot. It has a chrome air tank in the rear of the truck that helps store air for the Air Ride system. The Air Ride system is a manual system with not electronic sensors to ever go out on you. the truck has disc brakes and lowering shocks with the frame boxed to allow it to go fairly low.The fuel tank is aluminum 21 gal tank that is a bed fill tank withthe old filler cap has being filled in.

The bed has rough cut lumber in it that is bolted down and give the truck that patina look. The cab of the truck has zero rust with new cab mounts. The engine bay has new paint and the pictures speak for themselves. The truck drive straight and starts up every time. Very sharp truck and would look great in anyone's garage. The truck has never been featured in any magazines or taken to large car shows. I think the next owner will enjoy this truck as much as I have.
