Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1969
1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS Z11 Indy Pace Car
This is an original southern car. No rust on this vehicle. Very solid convertible. It would be extremely hard to find a cleaner rust free and solid1969 Z11 convertible.
All original outer sheet metal and floor pans to include the trunk pan. Car retains all its factory metal.79k originalmiles on the odometer. This is a real Z11. Built the first week of 1969 Pace car production.02D (February- 4th week).
Engine: 396/325hp C.I. Big block. P/N#3955272 StampedTO207JG (faint) Vin# is not stamped on block.
Turbo 400-Transmission. Non matching part.
Power top.
Rosewood wheel with tilt column.I added the rosewood wheel.
Full gauge package to include clock.
Full mechanical, nd interior restoration.
Didn't touch the paint. Paint is 25 years old.
Looks good, ut would need a complete paint job to be of concourse show level. Some cracks, ings and chips in the paint. At ten feet, t looks perfect.
Rebuilt engine, nd transmission to include all
steering, raking, uspension, uel, xhaust, electrical, owl induction hood flapper, nd R/S headlight assemblies as well.
Differential housing is original to the car, as up graded from a 3:07 posi ratio to a 3:73 posi by the previous owner.
Transmission is not original to vehicle. Trans came out of a 1969 Chevelle. Everything else is period correct, nd numbers matching to the best of myknowledge. Most of the work was done by myself.I'm not a professional car restorer by any means.
Underside side of vehicle looks very clean.
Every componentoperates as it should. Even the fiber optic ash tray light, nd the cigarette lighter works perfectly. Original working AM radio is there too. Even the complete spare tire jack assembly is original to the vehicle.
New BF Goodrich 215-70-R14 tires on the correct coded wheels.
New Top
New interior
New stock exhaust
New everything
Every seal is new
NO "SHORTCUTS" made in restoration process.
This is not a 100 point car. It's not a trailer queen. I would consider this vehicle a verycleandriver. A goodsecond condition.Come and see it - not going to be disappointed. The car is priced right to sell. With fresh paint andcorrecttires installed, hese big block pace cars go well over $70,000 at the high end car auctions. Please keep in mind that, his is a 46 year old car and will need adjustments from time to time.
I've own this car for over ten years, nd only driven it on nice days. After several years of driving the car, he restoration still looks good. It's always been garage kept its entire life. I have a clean title in my name, nd two sets of keys. Yellow parade flags and bumper holders go with the car.
Car is located in Naperville, L. 60563.Ireserve the right to end the auction at anytimefor a local sale.

Forgot to mention that the Rally Sport headlight washer option has also been restoredand works great. Original R/S special washer fluid pump andnozzles, nstalled new lines. All routed correctly. I never use it much, akes a huge mess on the headlight doors and front bumper. I just clean the windshield withWindex. Also the car comes with a new orange parade boot cover for the top. Installed on car only twice, nd a nice set of 1969Illinoislicenseplates go with the car as well.
