Description for Chevrolet Nova 1974
I am selling my 1974 Nova. It has a rust free body and I just had a new 406 small block and new TH350 trans with shift kit dropped in June. I have less than 200 miles on this drivetrain and it sounds mean with the new headers and Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust system. I had purchased this vehicle in Arizona 2 years ago and had the body and paint done last year. This is not a show car, ut is a nice looking vehicle. It is not a cheap Maaco paint job, ut also not show quality. I paid $2,000 for paint job and another $6,000 for engine and trans. I was beginning to work on interior and I just don't have the time to complete this vehicle. Below I will do my best to describe this vehicle's good and bad.I am conveniently located less than 5 minutes from O'Hare airport. The Good:Brand new 406 engineBrand new TH350 Trans with Shift KitBrand new driveshaftFlowtech HeadersFlowmaster American Thunder Dual ExhaustNew PaintNo rustNew CarpetNew dash bezelNew Edelbrock Carb
The Bad-Will need interior- dash pad ($250 on ebay), eadliner and sun visors ($375 ebay), ip in rear bench seat. Have most interior trim but of assorted colors that will need to be painted. The car is jacked up in the rear and the rear differential does make noise. Does not seem to hamper performance, ut does make noise when deceleratingThere are a few dings in the car, ut paint not damaged where dings are.The gas gauge works, ut the spedometer does not. I did install a 3 gauge set with volts, il pressure, nd engine tempThe front right tire rubs on hard right turnsNo radioFront bucket seats are from a mid 80's chevy so not original
