Description for Chevrolet Corvette 1966
Rosner MotorSports is proud to offer this outstanding 1966 Corvette Stingray convertible. Finished in Sunfire yellow over black leather, he 1966 model is the first year the Corvette was offered with the legendary 427 engine. Our Corvette was built on May 18, 966. The engine code "IP" indicates it is a 425 horsepower motor backed up by a 4 speed manual transmission. This is the same 427 motor that was rated at 450 horsepower when the 1966 model was introduced.
This Corvette was delivered new to Laroche Chevrolet in Brenham, exas. A copy of the NCRS shipping data report is available upon request. It appears to be one of only 54 heater/defroster delete cars (C48) constructed in the 1966 model year. The heater/defroster block-off plate is intact. Our Corvette is believed to be a matching number car with the factory side mount exhaust option (N14), eakwood steering wheel (N32) and Posi-traction rear axle (G81). This Sting Ray sits just right and rides/drives great on reproduction knock-off style wheels and whitewall radial tires. Our Corvette is ready to be shown, riven and enjoyed. Market priced at $88,990.00 and ready to roll. For additional information, lease contact Bob Reilly at Rosner MotorSports 540-287-4378.
