Description for Chevrolet Nomad 1957

1957 Chevrolet Nomad, as a factory turquoise and white with power steering and power brake equipped car. The exterior is now Dusk Rose with a black interior. The body was removed from the frame and the frame was sand blasted and powder coated then remounted using new cushions and bolts. New front and rear shocks installed. The rear end had new seals and brake pads installed. The front end was rebuilt and 2" drop spindles installed with front disc brakes. The gas tank has a new sending unit installed and is mounted with new straps and hardware. New brake and gas lines are installed as well as new front and rear shocks. There are new Z wheels with new Goodyear 70 R 15 tires. The motor is a rebuilt 1996 Chevrolet 350 and rebuilt turbo 350 auto trans. New master cylinder and power brake booster installed. A new floor board from front firewall to rear seat including new braces was installed. The seats were recovered in black vinyl. Also included is a new black headliner, ear wheel well covers, oor panels, irewall pad, teering column seals, nd mounting screws. also included is new windshield, ew curved glass, ew sliding glass and all glass seals. the door and vent window glass is new and comes mounted in new chrome frames. There is a new Edlebrock carburetor and breather installed. New water pump and alternator. The radiator is four core and recently flushed and checked for leaks. There is a new Highway series wiring kit included, nstallation not completed. The tailgate 'bananas' were re-plated. New dash insert, wo new fender mirrors, ew hood rockets, ew wiper escutcheons, ew grill emblem and installation kit, ew Nomad emblem, ew door handle guards, ew door release handle, ent window cranks and various new screw sets. Front trim and bumper installed but should be re-plated and or replaced. Someone helped themselves to the back bumper and I no longer have one. I believe all the exterior and interior stainless is present but needs polishing and installing. The interior chrome trim needs re-plating as do the headliner bows.There are a few small nicks in the paint, othing real noticeable, he shop that did the paint job did not address the rocker panels as they should have and they need attention. Also, t appears the shop didn't make a proper repair possibly to a leaded spot on right roof S and the paint cracked. Also needs a power steering pump. The car has never been started or driven and there are no guarantees mechanically or otherwise on this vehicle or parts and that should be considered when bidding. Low starting bid and no reserve, have a LOT more in it, y loss your gain.
