This is a beautiful 1966 Corvair. Since I purchased this a few years back. I have changed everything I could think of. New Koni shocks. springs. battery. oil cooler. bushings and engine gaskets. new duel exhaust system. The stock AM/FM radio and tissue box. New carpet. mats. interior upholstery. seat padding. Hidden CD player with rear speakers. New radial tires. Discreet electronic ignition conversion. The driveway is bone dry. with no leaks. The car will start after a few turns after being stored in the garage all winter. There are just so many things that I have done to this car. that I don't even know where to end. I have all the invoices from Clark Corvair to show. I have two boxes of spare parts that I got when I bought it. which includes carbs. hubcaps. radio to stereo converter. dash parts. etc. I will also throw in all the brochures and literature I acquired. I will just keep the trophies. I take this car to shows all the time wit the family. It ALWAYS gets huge attention . It looks gorgeous and it is unusual. The only thing I would be doing next is changing the convertible white top. It doesn't leak. but it shows wear and tear in and out. It's easy to get. Clark has it for around 300. The only other thing I can think of is that the hinge of the emblem cover for the front trunk key is loose. The cover still stays over the key hole. but it has to be pushed in. I also know where to get he part for that. I literally spent double the amount of the sales price for this car. It was a labor of love. I bought another classic car that I have always wanted. so I can't keep so many cars in the driveway. You will benefit from that in a big way. Take my word that there will be nothing you need to do to take it out right now. You can add you own teaks if you want. I have things. like the new lighter. that I will give you. I love this car and I hate giving it up. It is completely reliable and it drives beautifully. especially on the highway. The independent suspension and rear engine makes it feel like a modern BMW on turns. Let me know if you have any questions. I really want to sell before the winter so I don't have to store it again.
