Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1979
I've owned this car for eight years, nd did a restoration push on it about three years ago. It's been a love/hate relationship from the beginning, ut at this point I no longer have a garage to house it under so I need to let it go. Too many updates and mods to list: New wheels, ires, rakes, rake master cylinder, delbrock performance intake manifold, delbrock Carburetor, delbrock valve covers and air filter pan, lowmaster 40/40 dual exhaust with turn downs, ew shock absorbers (rear has air-rides), ew spark plugs, ires, istributor cap, nterior rehab kit installed, ear tail light assembly, ront headlights and signal light assemblies, D player, peakers, idden antenna, peakers and plenty more. The paint is three years old and the car is black so there's a minor ding or scratch here and there. The passenger door has a mild bend in a corner and the hood needs to be refinished. The trunk needs a lock cylinder but it's still accessible. The car runs great—it always has. It will need a tuning but it's always been a solid ride. The transmission needs to be serviced because of a gasket that has a mild leak--but it's the original and they all need some maintenance. The engine is a crate 350 from the 90's and was in the car when I bought it. I installed a new water pump, hermostat, oses, uel tank, uel lines and fuel pump and it's run strong since I've owned it. I bought it in Oregon and the car has minimal rust on the underside and has been garaged for most of its life. The air conditioner doesn't work but the components are in the trunk and just need to be rehabbed and installed.
This Camaro is selling cheap and has been on the globe for over 30 years AND it runs. You can go to a car dealership and buy and used Honda Civic piece of crap for a few grand.....please don't buy this car thinking that it's a mint condition show car. Whomever I sell this vehicle to needs to understand that a little more work needs to be put into it and it'll be good to you. I won't sell this car to someone looking to make a quick dollar on a flip-trade or sale. The car is a bang for your buck—and is a major loss to me so please don't try to short change the offer.
