This is a very rare and hard to find Texas rust free truck 2WD 3/4 Ton Crew Cab. Most of these were ordered as state trucks and never with a Silverado package. A friend flew out to Texas about 4 years ago and bought this truck out of an estate from the original owners Grandson. When he left Texas with it to drive it home it had 39000 original miles, t now has 43000 miles. This truck has never had an electric brake system and it has never been used as a tow truck or a work truck. The old man that bought it new special ordered it for his own personal truck because he had several other farm trucks. The interior is completely original and is better than you could imagine with no rips or tears and the ash trays have never been used. My friend has a Harley Davidson with a limited paint color "Crimson Red Sun Glow" and he wanted the truck to match the bike so he took it to one of the best shops around and had it disassembled and painted the same color at the tune of $12000.00. The paint alone was $1300.00 a gallon. It has beautiful paint although the pictures do it no justice. The body is much straighter than when it came from the factory and the cowl hood is a steel Goodmark Inside the bed,floor and wheel humps have no dents or dings. It is painted with epoxy and I added the bed liner in case I ever wanted to use it. This truck is very well equipped with everything you could get in 1988. Options are a powerful 454 engine, 00 Turbo Trans with auxiliary heavy duty trans cooler, eavy duty positive traction rear end. New tires and wheels and new flow master exhaust system. (Sounds awesome) Dual fuel tanks.power windows and door locks, ilt wheel, actory air, M-FM Stereo, Over all this truck is in show room condition it is ready to show,drive or work. It is a real crowd pleaser and show stopper. I just drove it round trip to Gatlinburg Tenn 450 Miles round trip and used no oil and trouble free. Please take time to look at the photos of the under carriage very close, t has never seen bad weather and undercarriage verify s it. Why pay 45 to 50K for a new one like your neighbor has when you can own one no one eles has. I own some classic cars and bought this about a year ago to tow with although i never had the nerve to add a trailer brake. It does have a Reese hitch. Sorry about the engine compartment, wo of the same pictures were posted and the motor left out. If you are interested I can email pictures of the engine.
