You are bidding on a 1961 Corvair Lakewood wagon. I will try to be as specific as I can on the details on the vehicle. - Odemeter is showing 31. 29 original miles. - Speedo and Odemeter are both working. Everything electrical in the vehicle works. including dome light and glove box light. AM radio and speakers also work. One high beam headlight will need to be replaced. - Car has new tires. plug wires. plugs. coil. and fresh fluids. - The motor and 2 speed auto transmission work but will need new seals. They both leak a tiny amount of fluid. - Brakes including parking brake work correctly and stop the car just like it was 1961. - Trunk floor and Floorboards are solid. - Body will need a little love. Slight rust in all the normal places. Lower rear quarter appears to have some damage that will need attention. - I purchased the car with 30k on the Odemeter and put 1000 miles on it over the summer. - Clean Title in my name. Registered and Insured as an antique. - Interior is in very good condition. No rips in the seats or headliner. Carpets are also in good shape. Best part is it smells like an older car should. Overall. this is a great example of a 1961. Lakewood survivor. You won't find them in this kind of condition very often. Keep in mind. it is 50 plus years old and it will need work to be perfect.
