Nice Original 55 Chevy 2 Dr HT Bel Air Car for show and/or drive. This car I've owned for 11 years, 'm an old school mechanic/race car owner driver operator from a few years back. This car I purchased from a car dealer auto body restorer guy in Pittsburg, a. (I seen the car at Carlisle Pa. car expo) it was his personal car that he purchased in the mid 1990's from a Musem in Canada. The car was made in St Louis and was sold in Oklahoma then near as we can tell it went to the Musem with the original paint and mechanics. Then 17 years later it was purchased by the person I purchased from 11 years ago. Previous owner painted the exterior this car with original color for the first time in its life with PPG Show Car Clear Coat and Modified the car with NewCorvette Much Quicker Steering, ower Front Disc Brakes, ront Coil Over Shocks and Springs,Vintage Air Conditioning System, 2004 -350 / 330 HP Vortec Crate Motor from Chevrolet and a Freshly Overhauled Turbo 400 Transmission with a shift kit. Aluminum Radiatorwith Chrome Alternator, /C Compressor and Belt Pulleys.Steering column is from a Buick Car and has Custom Chevy Steering Wheel (I have the original Steering wheel in very good condition and the car's original front springs which can be reinstalled, ll comes with the car). 350 Engine has Aluminum Bow Tee Intake and an Eldobrock 4 Barrel Carb.. The car has been painted underneath to original look and has not been driven since it was complete 10 years ago. This has beenkept in an air conditioned/heatedgarage and has maintained and only driven a small amount several times a year. The fluids have been changed regularly, he rear axle was taken down and cleaned painted and re-installed with new axle bearings, rake system is new through out with chrome power brake booster. The A/C system works but has leaked down and I don't have plans yet to have it charged, t may have to be done by the new owner.ThisCar isclean everywhere and does not show signs of being ever rusted or repaired. Has original body mounts. The Tail Lamps, eft ext. Mirrorand Front Parking Lamps are Quality Danckereplacements but everything else is Original,the bumpers are the original 3 piece thathave been re-chromed, ll the Stainless is original and mostly undisturbed. Grille and Emblems are original and are near perfect, hole car is unbelievably nice and clean.There may have been a scrape on the right rear corner once (has a slight scrape on the original molding and I found a slightly bent rt. rear axle, id notnotice until trying to reinstall) but there's no body filler anywhere to be see, he original under coating was removed from floors under side but left in the rear wheel wells and up in the hump where the rear shocks mount. The car has good working rear air shocks and new set of 5 leave springs from Dancke. The rear shocks top mountingis not into the body floor as original, till could be, ut there is now a cross bar welded from left framerail to right frame for mounting the rear shocks (put as much air in them as you like) very nice mod. to keeprear shocks from pushing up on thebody.Exhaust system is; coated headers, tainless 2" custom tail pipes in original hangers (stainless from the axle hump out to rear bumper, ery nice!) pipes from engine headersto Flow Master 40 series Stainless Steel Mufflers is 2-1/4, rops down to 2" Stainless for the rear tail pipes. Engine has been well care for by me, t was new when I purchased 11 years ago in 2004 and still is. The caris tuned verynice and runs strong, teersexcellent and stops like a newer car. The front Calipers are new and were powder coated bright silver as seen in my pictures. Previous owner stated that the Glass, xterior and Interior Stainless is original, t looks mostly undisturbed. Car has been painted once, as Pearl on the rear instead of Ivory see pictures, t's beautiful! The interior looks original except for the Carpet and front kick covers,Seat Covers, teering Wheel and Column. This car doesn't look like it ever got very dirty, lean as new under the dash, replaced some of the original wring harnesses. The radio looks like it works but there is no speaker. Car Has American Mag Wheels. MST, ooks even better then pictures can show. I'm 1-1/4 hours from Carlisle Pa. in Kearneysville West Virginia 25430 near Martinsburg off Interstate81.
