"Limited Edition" 1978 L82 Corvette Pace Car - Very Low Miles, Very Clean

This is a 38,200 original mile three owner 1978 Corvette L82 Pace Car. This is a limited edition car. The two previous owners put on most of the miles in Texas. The second owner brought it to California in 1992. He didn't have time to drive it any longer and it sat in his garage for 20 years (1992-2012) under a car cover. In 2012 (at 33,500) I rescued this car from the garage and gave it new life once again. I had the professionals at Corvette Care in Sacramento do a bunch of work to get it running again with over $12,000 in service (see below for some details on what was done). However, fter a couple thousand miles, he rings seemed to be bad so in late 2104 (at 37,000 miles) I had the original block (to retain the matching numbers) rebuilt and re-bored to 40 over and 11:1 compression by Street Tech Auto in Orangevale at a cost of around $6000. Forgot to mention: Stereo had been upgraded and is not an original deck with cassette player. It has a new JVC deck with AUX and Bluetooth connectivity (no CD player), s well as 4 new Kenwood speakers.
