1972 Chevrolet Custom K20 4WD. Strong 350 engine with a four speed manual transmission (SM465) and (NP 205) transfer case. The truck has the original Dana 44HD front and Eaton rear axle with 4.10 gear ratio. It rides on a 4" suspension lift with Rancho shocks and 315/75/16 tires. The truck Runs, rives and Stops as well as the day it was new. It drives down the road smooth and quiet. There are no Rattles, queak, r Groans coming from this truck. While the truck is sitting in your garage, est assured you will not be cleaning up any oil drips or leaks from anywhere on the vehicle. The body is flawless with the exception of over 40 years of dings in the bed floor. We fixed the interior bed side and wheel well dings but there was no way I was going to cut out rust free GM metal for a bed floor that I planned on putting a rubber mat over anyway. The truck was purchased about four years ago in Montana and I had it shipped to Ohio. It has never seen salt as far as I know. The truck had its original paint and no visible rust prior to its extensive frame off restoration. The doors pop open and close flawlessly, ith no rattles and it has nice panel gaps. The truth is in the details, nd this truck stands tall among other trucks. The underside of the truck is just as nice as the top and while it may be a little overkill for an old truck, hy do it at all if you're only going to do it half hearted.
