Description for Chevrolet C-10 1966
Up for auction is a 1966 Chevy C10 Truck.Super good looking truck that has been tastefully modified. Always gets tons of looks and compliments. I am surprised how many girls like the 'Pretty Green Truck'.Features
-Fresh paint, riginal Factory green with Cool White scallops. I painted the grill, ront bumper and rooftop the same Cool White. Those two colors I chose really compliment each other and everyone loves the color combo. I decided to scallop the truck on the sides to give it that short box look. It really makes the box look shorter than it is in person.
-Shaved door handles and gas filler neck.
-Shaved turn signals on hood and filled hood opening for hood latch. Relocated hood latch lever under front fender.
-Front turn signals relocated behind the grill.
-Bench seat was replaced with buckets seats. Which are super comfy and the height feels natural and comfy.
-Wood bed removed. I plasma cut a late 90's Chevy truck bed floor and transplanted onto the 1966 box. Still has original wheel wells.
- The new metal bed was painted with bed liner and tinted Cool White to match the grill, umper, oof and scallops. Looks factory.
- Gas tank was relocated underneath the truck bed with the filler neck goes thru the floor hidden by a Miller High life can. Thought it would be fun to do it that way.
- Tailgate filled in with painted Chevrolet font they used on valve covers from that era.
-New chains for the tailgate
-Bumper removed and replaced with roll pan.
-New coil spring front and Rear that dropped the rear 4 inches and the front 2 inches. Smoothed the ride out and not bouncy at all.
-Rear Turn signals relocated to roll pan. All new housings, ulbs, ires, askets and trim.
-Locar Shifter-New Chrome Peep Mirrors-New Chrome Hood Springs-New Headlights & Turn signal Bulbs-New Battery with New hold downs-New Fuel pump with new lines and filter-Custom Aluminum Fan Shroud-New Carpet-New Door seals-New Chrome door plates-Door panels painted cool white-Freshly Wrapped steering wheel-New Cap And Rotor-New 8mm wires-Custom Thurley Headers-Rebuilt Edlebrock 600 series-New rear window seal-Fresh tires white letter out on Kraiger SS Chrome wheels that I Plastidipped outer half black.
This truck runs and rides pretty smooth. The power steering isn't lucy goosey and the power brakes do their job well. I'm not really the burn out type but when I get on the Interstate i have no Problem getting up to speed.
Good luck bidding. I will certainly help you coordinate shipping and I am willing to ship internationally. Truck will be garaged until pick up date.
