Description for Chevrolet Impala 1969
Ultra Motorsports is very pleased to offer this rare and powerful muscle car. This is a TRUE "SS" 427 Impala that has been well restored. This EXACT car was featured in the October 2011 issue of Hemmings Muscle Car Magazine! ATTENTION IMPALA lovers! We are representing this car as a REAL SS 427/425 L72 car. Less than 600 of these cars were produced, nd we believe this is one of them. While we do not have a build sheet for this car, owever we believe that there is other evidence present that gives solid support to this car's pedigree. We have spoken with the person who restored this car and showed it in the Hemmings Muscle Car Mag. With his help and some great paperwork, his car speaks for itself. We have a SIGNED and NOTARIZED AFFIDAVIT from the owner of the Chevrolet dealership that sold the car brand new. This affidavit certifies that this car was sold as a SS 427/425 L72 car. We have a copy of the original MSO that states this vehicle was a 427/425 car as well. There is also paperwork from the original owner present that once again certifies this car. We have also contacted the gentleman who restored the car and he guaranteed its authenticity. This guy knows Impalas. Right down to making a point to mention that when he dug this car out of the junk yard it had the original single 3/8" fuel line on the car. ONLY 427/425 cars had a single 3/8" fuel line. The restorer then performed a frame off restoration right back to factory specifications. Unfortunately the original engine for this car was lost prior to restoration. The restorer was fortunate enough to locate a stamped 1969 427 cubic inch 425 hp COUNTER EXCHANGE (CE) block! Do your homework if you are thinking this significantly devalues this car..... A Counter Exchange (CE) block is acceptable by judging standards and recognized as an acceptable replacement. THIS IS THE REAL DEAL. This is ONE OF THE VERY FEW PRODUCED. While the restoration is at least 10 years old, his car is still stunning. The paint is very good overall with a few minor chips. There is a haze spot on the trunk deck about 6" round. This is the only reason we are offering this car under $30k. The underside of the car is in excellent condition and presents well with nothing hidden. The interior of the car is excellent and accurate. Mechanically the car is a beast. The car has a great sound and drives great. Please call our office (260)969-5666 or Rich (260)704-0234 if you would like additional info, ictures, r video. This is a rare one.
