Description for Chevrolet C-10 1972
Up for auction at No Reserve is my 1972 Cheyenne K10 factory 4x4. Scroll down for over 60 pictures. This is a rare truck and arguably the best year for this body style as it came with Disc Brakes. This is a Cheyenne so, t is one of the higher level trim packages as well. I bought this truck while I was finishing the restoration of my 1970 K10. I could not pass it up as it is a 1972, y favorite color combo of green/white and a white interior. This would be a stunning combo all restored. The truck was also a 1 owner, eavily documented with build sheet still in the seat, PID, nd dealer delivery paperwork showing it being sold October 12, 971 at Guaranty Chevrolet in Junction City, regon. The title is still in the original owners name signed over ready to go. I left it like this as I'm sure the new owner would like to see the matching delivery paperwork with title. If the winning bidder wants me to switch it into my name, would be more than happy to do so. The truck is very original and even still has the tower clamps on the radiator hose! I planned on restoring this one when I finished my 1970 K10 but, don't have the time or space for it. I will pass it on to the next enthusiast. You could use it as a daily driver with a tune up, estore while drive or complete restoration. The truck does run and drive. I have driven it around town a bit. The oil was changed last month and all fluids checked and topped off. I also installed a new battery. The tires are in great shape. I would recommend going over it and doing a tune up before driving a long distance as it has not been driven much in the last few years. If you are local, ou could drive it home. Keep in mind it is an unrestored 43 year old truck. This truck is very original and complete. It was never hacked up or lifted which was a big attraction for me. The body has typical rust for this body style. I have included over 60 pictures to ensure you like what you are getting. I have sold several of my personal vehicles on ebay and always had happy buyers. The truck has some rust in the lower kick panel area where it meets the outer floors. The rockers have a bit along the top portion near the weatherstrip. The outer rocker on the drivers side does not have any rust. The cab corners do not show any rust through and I do not think they will need replacement. The passenger rocker has some pin holes on the outside. The front cab supports have some rust on the outer portion. The rear cab supports are solid. The bed floor is solid. The rain gutter is solid. Cowl solid. Passenger inner fender under battery has some rust. The grill is very nice and all the trim is there. The interior is all original minus the radio. The seat still has the build sheet in it. Truck came with a factory headliner. SPID is still on the glove box door. Truck has factory gauges. Stock steel wheels with hard to find 4x4 hubcaps. I will help with the sale in anyway possible. It is not for sale locally and I will not end the auction early. This truck will sell to the highest bidder. I will help load the truck with your shipper and can store the truck for 2 weeks. Deposit due within 24 hours. Full payment within 3 days. Under 10 feedback bidders please contact me first. I will overnight the title and all paperwork I have for the truck upon completion of payment. Good luck and I hope the truck goes to a great home that will appreciate it.
