Hi, ore pictures coming this week. I bought this car yesterday and will sell it here to the highest bidder. I wanted people to see it this weekend. I don't have time to work on it, s I have other projects to finish, ut I wanted to get it out to the Chevy community worldwide.
This car comes with a clear title. I will NOT part out this car.
You're bidding on a 1956 Chevy 210 Wagon project car, ithout an engine or transmission. Built and owned for most of it's life in California. Minor surface rust only, o rot or cancer. Main body parts are complete, n need of restoration. Front Clip is loose for chassis and engine work/installation.
Front Doors are in the back of the car and in good condition. Interior needs restoration. Seats and liners are there but need reupholstery. (I have a nice set of tan leather 2001 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi Power Interior available, f you're interested.) Side Glass is broken and needs to be replaced. I haven't seen the taillights, ut there are lots of boxes of parts that I haven't opened yet.
Lots of extra parts - I haven't had a chance to inventory them, ut I will add the highlights when I do the inventory during the week. The original speedometer is inside the car. I'll read the odometer when I do the inventory. There is a tilt wheel steering column in the car, ut it is not installed. This car does not brake or steer.
The car has a late model disc brake rear end with ABS chopper wheels. I'll figure out the make and ratio when I get the car on the rack and can inspect it this week. An experienced body man started this project but couldn't finish the project. He built a new frontchassis for late model independent suspension and also added rotisserie mounts to the lower boxed rails. His goal was to put a Corvette Engine in the car. The new chassis is big enough for a small block or a big block crate motor, tc...
I can deliver the car to you in the CONUS for $1.00 per mile round trip. I can also load your individual car hauler trailer, ollback, tc... This car will not ride on a common big rig multi-car carrier. We can make arrangements to upgrade the car to a full rolling chassis, tc... Currently, his car has no brakes, nd does not steer. I have a portable receiver winch and can transfer the car from my trailer to your trailer, tc...

The front end is a later model Camaro rack and pinion steering, -Arm IndependentSuspension, isc brake system on the Camaro Crossmember. The rear end is a 10 bolt Camaro Disc Brake GM Corporation Axle with ABS Chopper Wheels, tc... I'll add more as I find it and learn what the parts are, tc...

The wagon is now at my place and we're able to look at it better. The front steering and suspension may be bigger than Camaro, aybe Caprice, tc... the bolt pattern on the discs are the same as the stock 56 Chevy wheels, ust big calipers and discs, nd the steering rack is located at the front of the crossmember, head ofthe A-Arms. Hope that helps you know what the front suspension and steering is. We're trying to get a definite answer for you.
