Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1967
This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro doesn't represent factory-correct work, atching numbers, r anything like that, o don't ask. What it does represent is massive firepower in the form of a 496-inch big block, fantastic look using modern finishes, nd a slick two-tone interior that ties it all together. Yep, t's fast, eautiful, nd fun to drive, nd isn't that the whole point? The paint is late model GM Sunfire Orange, nd it works just as well here as it does on more recent F-bodies. In fact, t makes this super slick '67 positively glow in the sunlight with plenty of metallic in the base and a set of fast Z/28-style stripes stretching across the bodywork. Finish quality is exceptionally good, mean, here's a pile of trophies with this car's name on them, ecause it stands out in a crowd and they got the details right. Gaps are excellent, he panels were block sanded until they were smooth, nd the final finish was color sanded and buffed to an awesome shine. Up front, ou have a cowl induction hood, chin spoiler, nd RS-style hidden headlights, hile out back there's a ducktail spoiler on the trunk and simple mono-color taillights that give it a clean, ncluttered look. All the emblems were shaved (as if you need them to identify this car) and things like the flush-mounted power antenna on the rear deck make it look like someone went the extra mile to get this car right. Even the chrome sparkles and glitters thanks to show-quality plating, reating a car you'll look forward to driving every day.The two-tone black and orange leather interior is aggressive, e get that, ut dig the workmanship. They're factory buckets but the custom seat covers are beautifully stitched and have an OEM look that works rather well in the vintage F-body. The original gauges are in excellent condition and they've augmented them with a trio of auxiliary gauges up high in the dash and a tach down low by the shifter, ll of which are quite cleanly installed. There's also a separate gauge for the air suspension, aking this car easy to dial in on the street and the track. A Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo head unit slots neatly into the dash and powers speakers throughout the passenger compartment. In back, he trunk is neatly finished with matching black carpets that suggest nothing on this car was overlooked during the build. The thundering 496 cubic inch V8 was built by Lonestar Performance, nd judging by the dyno sheets that accompany the car, t's cranking out 604 horsepower on pump gas. Wow! The list of hardware is first-rate, tarting with a full stroker kit, set of Edelbrock aluminum heads, matching intake and QuickFuel 4-barrel carburetor, nd a set of long-tube Hedman headers. The engine bay was detailed for show with lots of shiny metal, hevy Orange, nd raw aluminum, ll adding up to a car that's ready to rock. It's also got power steering and power disc brakes at all four corners, s well as a great-sounding dual exhaust system tucked in tight under the car. The 4-speed gearbox powers a 10-bolt rear with 3.55 Eaton gears on a Posi twisting a set of Moser axles, o you really don't need to worry about breaking it unless you do something really crazy. 17-inch B/G wheels give it the perfect stance and wear 235/45/17 front and 275/40/17 rear Falken performance radials. With a huge stack of build receipts, yno sheets, nd trophy wins behind it, his is a no-stories Camaro with serious power and show-winning looks.
