Description for Chevrolet Corvette 1964

I have decided to put my 64 Vette up for sale after 9 years. It is an all stock correct 56,000 mile 327/300 Powerglide. Always meticulously maintained and used only on nice days by me and previous owner of 17 years. Original body is super straight and all gaps are perfect. Bumpers fit correct and are straight. Car was stripped to bare glass and painted with epoxy primer and urethane finish coat in 1992 and looks like it was just done. That is what careful driving & Climate controlled storage for last 23 years will get you. Interior is mint original except for replaced carpet. Engine, rans, xle, lt, arb all orig. matching numbers. New Dewitts correct style aluminum radiator that is date code correct.
All 4 sets of wheel bearings have been replaced with new Timkien bearings and synthetic grease. I use the repro bolt on Knockoffs and radial tires for driving and have a beautiful set of original hubcaps, 5 x 5.5 steel wheels with bias ply BFG Silvertowns if you are wishing to be judged by N.C.R.S. The bias ply tires are not dry rotted but old. They look good for judging. The last time this car was judged a number of years ago it scored a 2nd flight, points out of top flight. The big deduction was for an incorrect radiator. (20 points) Today it should easily top flight if that is your thing. All chrome and stainless is extremely nice, o pitting on diecast pieces. The top material is very good for its age. date on window is 1989. Window is clear, hoto looks hazy but that is just glare. All weatherstrips are nice, he top frame also is in excellent condition. I never latch the rear of the top all the way down tight so as to not mare the paint on the hatch. I have a folder with service records, eceipts dating back to the 1980s and N.C.R.S. judge sheets.
I show the car a few times a year and it regularly gets 1st or 2nd place and I have received multiple best of show awards competing with over 200 other stock original cars per show. This is a high quality car that really needs nothing. Only reason I am selling is to reduce size of my collection and make more room in my shop.
I welcome and encourage inspections and will answer any questions you may have about the car. Contact me thru Ebay and if you want to talk in person email your phone number and I will call you. Car and title will not leave my possession until all funds clear my bank. I will help load car with shipper of your choosing paid by buyer if you choose that method. Car is sold as is, here is with no warrantee. Thanks for looking at my ad.
