1951 Chevrolet Suburban 3100 Series Wagon Redneck Woodie

Description for Chevrolet Suburban 1951

Not a woody but they did come with a wood floor. So I call it a redneck's woody. Located in dry storage between Indianapolis and Chicago. Please come and look as no number of photos will do them justice. Sorry this us the 3106. I do have another 3116 clamshell that as originally offered at a higher price. I separated the auctions because it was confusing people. The other truck is not as nice but is a more rare and sought after body style.

HERE IS WHAT IS IN THE SALE.

1951 Chevy Carryall Suburban Model 3106 barn door wagon. Floor shift. Stock condition. Said to have been a western wagon from Kansas. Assembled in Kansas City. Seems to have originally been cream color from the factory and some previous owner brush painted it orange.

No seats, ostly no usable glass except for maybe one rear door and possibly the ventipanes. No door keepers on the barn doors. Drivetrain is there but does not run.Needs front floor panels and rear corners. Otherwise the rust issues can be managed. Not perfect by any means but a better than average example for what is still out there today. Suburban survivors are getting really picked over and from what I am told the best western examples have already been gobbled up.

Wood floor looks good in the back although there was a wooden patch panel placed in the middle of the floor by a previous owner.

Rolls freely and can easily be put on a trailer for transport. We can help load at our end.

This one has not been taken apart though and there could be areas of rust that cannot be seen. The inside walls above the rear wheel wells look decent though and this was why we bought it in the first place.
