Description for Chevrolet Impala 1964
This a solid 1964 Impala project car. I have a clear title for the car. Runs and drives fine but needs body and interior work. The mileage is 74724 on the odometer. I purchased it from the family of the gentleman that had started restoring the car butunfortunately he passed away. I purchased this car the way it is and planned to finish the work that was started but my wife wasn't as enthusiastic about it as I was so it's gotta go! I have relisted this carbecause the winning bidder did notfollow through, lease bid only if you actually want the car!Below is some of the work that was done:- rebuilt 350 V-8 with a quadrajet carb andautomatic transmission (picture)- frame was cleaned and coated (body off)- new body mounts (picture)- new shocks- new fuel tank and lines, uel gauge works- new brake lines- new aluminum radiator- new front bumper reinforcement bar (not installed - see trim picture)- new hood (installed)
All of the trim is included (bagged and tagged) as you can see in the pictures. Also there is a new rear deck emblem still in the box. The trim is in fair conditionbut needs cleaned and some straightening. All of the windows are good and the side windows all wind up and down.
The floor boards are "ok" but have some rust. The right front fender and door are good. The left front fender and door need some work or replaced. Although all of the interior is there, s you can see from the pictures the interior needs redone. The trunk floor looks "ok". The body mounts havebeen replaced (see picture). The gentleman put new quarter panels on the car but didn't weld them on, ust pop riveted them into place. The trunk lid looks "ok" (see picture). The rear bumper is good but the front bumper will need re-chromed.
Winning bidder will be responsible for all shipping and car must be paid in full within7 days of end of auction. If you have questions you can call 717-437-5627or text. Thank you for looking!
