Rare find --This car was formerly owned by Peter Klutt from Television's What's My Car Worth and Dream Car Garage.It looks to have gone under some restoration in 2000 and spent time in Wisconsin until I purchased it in 2013.Numbers matching drivetrain396/325 which has been bored and stroked to 427TH 400 Automatic with Shift kit3.31 12 bolt w/ PosiBucket SeatsRoller TachPower BrakesPower SteeringFloor ConsolePower TopRally WheelsPaint shines up nice but is a 10 footer, lenty of dings and flaws to see if you get any closer

My illness forces sale. I purchased 2.5 years ago with plans on restoring. Just to give you an idea of what I think would be a priority I would have started with a wiring kit, as tank, ew floors and maybe updated brakes to match power of car. Super fun car and much more attractive than leaving money sitting in the bank. Will be happy to break even as I am needing to downsize, ids in college, tc.

I have been investigating the paint codes for 1968. This is a QQ code which is unique to Canada. It appears there were 15 colors available for Chevelles in the US and an additional 6 in Canada in 1968. This on, Verdoro Green, as exclusive to Canadian Chevelles. So of the 108 SS396 Convertible Chevelles produced in Canada there were 21 colors to choose from. There is not an exact breakdown available ( that I am aware of ) but by using deductive reasoning there should have only been around 5 or 6 ever that left the factory in Verdoro Green. What I am getting at is that this would be an excellent color choice for someone who wanted to restore this to original. To get an idea of what Verdoro Green looks like Pontiac used it on the GTO and Firebird in the late 60's. But never on the US Chevelle's!
