1972 Chevelle SS--Tribute

This is a recently completed Chevelle SS tribute car with apx 3500 miles. By no means is it an authentic SS,nor is it numbers matching. It is however a frame off restoration that has been built completely built/rebuilt sparing no expense. It is a big block that has been completely rebuilt and kept completely period correct with the exception of a mild cam. The carbuerator is a Quadrajet and it does have an original style point distributor. The Cowl induction is real and does operate. The transmission is a completely rebuilt 400. The rear is a 12 Bolt posi unit again completely rebuilt. Every aspect of the suspension, nd brakes are new using authentic parts. It does have power brakes with disc up front and drum in the rear. The exhaust is original style dual, ith manifolds. The body is nearly flawless except for a chip on the upper portion of the drivers door. Otherwise the body is laser straight, nd the paint is gorgeous. The stripes are authentically painted. The white vinyl roof is new. The interior is new aftermarket and very authentic. All the glass is perfect and the windows all work as they should. Every piece of rubber has been replaced with new. Everything works 100% except for the clock. The wheels are new reproduction ss, nd tires are new, ven the spare. Every nut,bolt and screw on this car is new. The only visible differences between this car and an authentic SS are: 1, he radio is an aftermarket unit with a C/D that sounds great,with 4 speakers. 2 The instument cluster has a shift indicator that works in conjunction with the console indicator. 3, here is no rear sway bar. This car runs and drives flawlessly at any speed. It runs on Hi-test pump gas. It does not run hot in any temperature and will tolerate traffic and can be driven anywhere.
