Description for Chevrolet Monte Carlo 1985
This is a 1985 Chevrolet Monte Carlo that I made into a #3 Dale Earnhardt Tribute car. A street legal car with a clean North Carolina title in my name. I have owned this car since 1999 and the paint and decals were done in 2001. The decals where purchased from Richard Childress Racing. Many new GM NOS parts and actual race car parts were used in this build. The car itself started out as a blue on blue LS, added the SS bumpers and other trim. The engine is the original 4.3 Fuel Injected V-6 with auto trans, orking air conditioning, ower windows and locks. The car has 198800 miles and does give out a puff of smoke on a cold start. I take it to car shows driving in town and on highways nearly every weekend, t starts and runs fine. Stock exhaust and muffler. The car was lowered by clamping the rear springs and heating the front springs. With the wide tires and as low as the front sits, he front tires will rub on a full turn or heavy bump, ut I have had it this way 14 years and it hasn't gave me any trouble. The seats are the factory 60/40 style with power drivers side, lack seat covers, o headliner. Dash, oor panels and carpet were dyed black. The dash has been signed by Dale's fuel man Danny "Chocolate" Myers. New windshield was installed when the car was built and still looks great. The car hasn't been driven in the rain much at all in 14 years. The body is in nice shape, o rust in the floor, runk or body. The paint is not super show car, ut looks nice and has held up well. Decals still look great. It has always been garaged since 2001. This has been a fun car to own, ake to car shows, arades and many people want a picture with the car. It would be great for a display at a business too. Buyer responsible for shipping. $500 due at end of auction. The rest must be paid before car is picked up. If you have any questions please email me before auction ends. I am 1 1/2 hours north of Charlotte Motor Speedway. Thank You.
