Description for Chevrolet Corvette 1963
This original 1963 hard top convertible roadster has lived a charmed life with s little over eighty thousand miles, lways professionally maintained. I've driven this car less than 1,000 miles in the last 3 years. Here is the good stuff . . ., t's a number's matching 327/340 RE block car with an engine rebuild by Vellios Automotive, A, paint job, nd anew leather upholstery in 1991, nd the 4-speed tranny is rock solid. The chassis is in excellent condition due largely to being a Southern California that moved to Florida. The underside is beautiful with no rust and is very clean and solid. Originally a Saddle Tan Metallic with Tan leather. The mechanical lights work properly and have never been a problem. The wheels are Stockton Wheel brand custom Rally 16x8 of the original 15 inchers and the tires are 215/60R/16. The instruments were completely rebuilt 11 years ago and it has a rare wood grain steering wheel original equipment (1 of 113). The chrome is fairly good and the bumpers are nice and solid all around. Purchased new in Long Beach be a McDonald Douglas aerospace engineer and sold to a second McDonald Douglas engineer, friend, efore I purchased it. The brakes have been updated to disk with a double-reservoir for safety and the ignition to MSD for better firepower. It has the original intake and exhaust manifolds. Vintage Air was installed a few years ago, ut needs recharged, ut it is mechanically sound.
The previous owner had this car for 24 years.
