I am only the 4th Owner of thisremarkable "Survivor" 1969Corvette Big Block Coupe. An original Colorado Car, he Car has always only been driven innice weather and stored Winters. The Car was appraised back in 2006 with 61,000 milesby Corvette City Corvette Specialist and Appraiser Gary Steffens at $40,000 due to it's excellent original condition, t being a highly optioned Corvette; and it's desirable Color combination of White with Blue Interior. The Corvette has only been driven 2,000 "sunny day" miles since that appraisal. During the appraisal/inspection,an Engine Compression and Cylinder leak down test was conducted with all cylinders at 140 to 150 psi (none lower); and a cylinder leak down rate of less than 5% (most 4% or lower) of "all cylinders" The Engine in this Corvette is "very strong" and has a "ton of torque" (460 lbs/ft . It doesn't burn oil, tarts easily, dles smoothly and runs very strong! The Engine has "never" been out of the Car "never bored", nbsp;never rebuilt. - "Original" - Still has original Smog Pump and A.I.R System.

Here's what else Mr.Steffens had to say about this Car: "This 1969 Corvette is one of the most "original, omplete, ndun-damaged Cars" I have ever inspected. The Body andFrame/undercarriage is straight; undamaged; and rust free." (There is no rust corrosion on the original Frame of this Car..! - my words)"Because of the originality of this Car, he many Options, nd the Desirability of the Color combination....I appraise this Corvette at: $40,000. That was at 61,000 miles and 9 years ago. It's only been driven 2,000 miles since and these, all original)Cars, ave "appreciated" in value since then..!

The only "non-original" Items on this Car at the present time are the Radio, hich was replaced with a Cassette Player -AM/FM Radio made specifically to fit this year Corvette; (I have the Original Delco Radio);Passenger Side Door Mirror; and the original Rochester Quadra-Jet 4-bbl Carburetor ( I have the "original correct numbered date code correct" Quadra-Jet Carburetorsafely put away in a Box and it goes with the Car). My personal preferencein Carburetors is Holley, nd I put on a brand new $500.00 "spread bore" Holley (no mods needed), ith a manifold "heat shield", ecause of the crap ethanol gas they sell these days that tends to percolate at 100 degrees. You can see the heat shield in the photos of the Engine. Let me say this: It's the best of "both worlds"....The Holley "outperforms" the Quadra-Jet by leaps and bounds....the Car runs better and more efficientlywith the Holley; The Holley is made to run on todays ethanol blended gasolines.....And....The original Quadra-Jet is safely tucked away in a Box,to be put back on at the new Owners desire.

The current overall condition of this Corvette is excellent. Everything works as noted above (Fiber-Optics and Hydraulics); The Car starts easily and runs "strong". The Muncy Transmission rows thru the Gears with no issues, nd the 3:36 Posi is just the right Gear Set for low end grunt (with the 460 lbs /ft of big block torque); but high enough for highway cruising. The all original Interior is in "amazing" condition with no torn or damaged upholstery, eats are not ripped or torn; Door Panels Intact and carpeting clean. For safety reasons I had a Passenger side Door Mirror installed by a Chevrolet Dealer. Some photos depict the Car earlier this Summer before I had the Mirror installed, nd others show the Factory right side Mirror.

Mechanically, he Car has had "all" new fan belts installed this past summer, ncluding the one often over-looked or just missing on a lot of Corvettes....the Water Pump to Crank fan Belt...New; along with the other three (3) Belts...all new. New Power Steering Hoses installed this Summer; New rear Shock Absorbers; New Rear Struts installed, f course, he new Holley Carburetor mentioned above. Brand new Stainless Steel exhaust system from the exhaust manifolds right back to the Stainless steel exhaustTips (including two (2) new Mufflers were installed this past summer....New Tune up including all new Ignition Points; Distributor Cap; Rotor; Spark Plugs; Oil Lube and Filter....over $2k in maintenance work done this year....This Corvette needs "nothing" except to be driven....Turn-key operation....turn the key and go!

The Car would be a $55,000 car if you so desired to paint it.....but it doesn't need paint to be enjoyed for a long time.

If there's any drawback to this Corvette at all,it's the Paint...it's showing it's age. In normal sunlight the Car presents very well, ndstill wins shows, ut under the bright fluorescent lights there are the typical bright and dull spots of aging paint; some texturing on the hood (years of heat), nd the usual small cracks in the usual places ie. the nose around the Headlight Buckets; radio antenna base etc. But...They are minor issues and are not serious damage. NOTE: There are "NO RIVETS" showingin theHeader Panel between the Headlight Buckets and theFront Bumper. There is "NO" evidence of any unevenness in the paintin this area from rivets working their way through. I havebeen told this was a problem on a lot of older C-3 Corvettes. There is absolutely no evidence of that happening on this Car. I have photos of the Header Panel and if you'd like to see them send me your e-mail address as I have no more room for photos here. Iadded some photosof the excellent condition Frame and undercarriagearea. This Corvette still gets the "Thumbs up" driving down the road and will do so for many years to come.

There is the "original" Owner's Manual; Protect-O-Plate and receipts for maintenance going back to the early 1980's. this is a well documented "original Car".
