1950 Chevy 5 window truck all originalWe have this super clean rust free Chevy 5 window truck for sale. The truck has had a complete mechanical restoration. The original (replacement) 216 starts right up. the engine is smooth and quiet and pulls hard having been bored . 060 over. its closer to a 235 then a 216. The 3 on the tree transmission shifts smooth and precise. the truck tracks straight down the road and stops straight with no hands on the wheel. All the fuel lines have been replaced. all the brakes lines have been redone. The truck is ready to be a daily driver. There has been a previous cosmetic restoration on this truck. good paint was used and it was done right. the paint still shines and looks great. Although most of the paint looks great. there are several chips and scratches particularly under the gas filler neck as you can see in the pics. It also has a plywood bed but all the needed cross bars underneath are in place if you ever wanted to install a new Oak wood bed (we install them so just ask!). The interior is in very nice condition. the bench seat and door panels are still like new. very clean carpet and the dash has nice paint. All the gauges work as they should. - fresh rebuild on 216 bored . 060 over runs strong- previous rebuild on 3 on tree trans shifts smooth- new fuel lines- new brake lines- new brake shoes- newer bench seat & door panels- all the lights and gauges work as they should- No RustThis truck has a fantastic foundation and is set for a nice restoration. but we are super busy here at the shop so we figured maybe someone could enjoy the truck as is or restore it themselves.
