I bought this a couple years ago pretty much sight unseen. It was in a small garage, didn't do a thorough inspection, nd I spent several hours driving there to buy it, ot look at it.

It had a new paint job, ut it was missing quite a few things, nd the seller described it as being a couple months past due on registration.

Title/Registration

It was more than a couple months past due, t was ~4 years and $900 past due. I paid the DMV, ot a clean title in my name, nd registered the car in my name. When the tags came due again, put it on non-op. So the car comes with a clean California title in my name registered as non-op with no past due fees or penalties.

Red Paint White Stripes

Surprise surprise; some of this new paint had flaked off the roof and driver side door by the time I got home (flaking is about the size and shape of a small handful of fruity pebbles thrown at front corner of the roof; it looks like the body got contaminated with some sort of over-spray before paint, don't know, 'm not a body man).However,I have not observed any paint flaking anywhere else, r anymore, ince then. There's also a few chips in the paint from random stuff bumping into it while sitting in my driveway (other car doors, icycles, tc. The paint is not perfect, t doesn't look bad, ut it's not professional quality.

Shoddy Prep Work

The floorpans had some rust holes and needed to be replaced, ut apparently someone welded sheet-metal over the floors, nstead of replacing with new floor pan. It works, ou won't fall through the floor, ut personally I would replace the floor pans.

The passenger door has some serious WTF fiberglass repairs done to it. I don't know, t doesn't look bad from the outside, ut apparently it was rusted out at the very bottom of the door and they 'fixed' it with fiberglass, ll I can say is WTF.

The firewall will also need some proper repairs done at/around the windshield wiper motor mounting area; rust damage that was not property repaired.

The package tray had surface rust so I took it down to bare metal with a wire wheel, nd sandblaster, nd etch primed the area. I cleaned up the grill and core support area. I installed a striker on the passenger door so the door will stay closed, ut there isn't one on the driver side yet (I might have one). I took the headlights off, andblasted, rimed, nd painted the headlight buckets, nd put the lights back in the buckets, ut misplaced them. So, hey are not currently included in this auction (since I don't know for certain where they are), owever I will look for them and include them at no extra charge if I find them.

Loose Parts

I've picked up a few parts including both front and rear bumpers and their bumper brackets; the windshield and rear glass (not glued in), nd the front seat (needs to be reupholstered). The backseat is there, he dash and gauges are there, he gas tank is there, ll the suspension is there, he steering column steering wheel is there, 'm pretty sure that driveshaft is there,, t's an air-conditioned car and many of those parts are there. The carpet and headliner are missing, think all the headliner bows are there, oth door windows roll up and down, oth quarter windows roll up and down, think there some miscellaneous chrome trim in the car, he rearview mirror is there, love box is there, ngine harness is there (pretty sure all the wiring is there and intact). I don't think the trunk lift bar is attached because the trunk is heavy to lift up. I don't recall any rust damage to the trunk pan, ut text me and I'll double check for you.

Engine, ransmission, heels, tc.

The car did not, nd does not, ome with an engine or transmission, ut it does come with four random wheels for it to roll. The Rally wheels in the picture are not included. They are not special, ut they belong to my Chevelle and they will not be sold with the nova. I do not have the taillights, do not have exterior door handles, nd I do not have the cowl that goes by the windshield.

Hood

The hood is made out of fiberglass and it is incredibly light. I think the hood hinges and springs are in the car, ut need to doublecheck. The hood is not mounted, t's loose. I believe it's a Harwood Bolt-On Fiberglass hood ($572 @ summit racing), ut not sure. I was told it was an $800 hood, ut either way I know it's not cheap and everyone keeps trying to buy it off me, ut I'm not parting the car out.

Cash / PayPal / Deposit

A $100 non-refundable deposit via PayPal is due within 48 hrs of the auction end. Although I do not plan on it, reserve the right to end the auction early. If you intend to buy the car on eBay, all me and let me know you intend to bid/buy and I'll let the auction run it's course.

I will accept up to, ut no more than, 500 payment via PayPal towards the car and the car may not be picked up until said paypal payment has cleared.

I would consider a money order, r cashier's check, owever the car does not leave my property until said money order, r cashier's check, as cleared the bank.

Pick Up

Car must be picked up within two weeks of auction close; if you need a little longer, ive me a call and we'll work it out. Remaining balance must be paid in person in cash, o exceptions.

Delivery (negotiated in advance)

I prefer you pick the car up, s I would rather not deliver, ut I will deliver for $1.50/mile round trip ($3/mile one way) for the first 500 miles (round trip) after paid in full and payment has cleared.

Plan B

This is Plan B. Craigslist was plan A. I'm not a very good car salesman, don't have the time or patience to deal with the lowballer's and flakes on Craigslist, nd I'm done with that BS. I don't want to sell my car and I don't need the money, ut I do need my driveway back, want it back more than I want this car, nd code enforcement says I got too many 'inoperable cars in my front yard', o it's gotta go. If it does not sell on this auction then I'll proceed with plan C, ove it to my other spot for long term storage.
