Description for Chevrolet El Camino 1970

1970 Chevy El Camino SS tribute. This is a 13680 code "El Camino Custom"PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO

It has its matching numbers 350/300 HP 4 bbl. with its TH 350 tranny and backed by the rarely ordered 12 bolt posi. rear, sually saved for the big block cars. It has power steering, ower disc brakes, factory air conditioning, M radio are all original.

This carhad a complete restoration in late 2010. Only 5000 miles have been put on it since. Paint and body, otor and tranny rebuild and interior headliner to carpet. The exterior is a beautiful Vermillion Red base coat, lear coat with the Saddle interior with red piping accents, ooks excellent. Must mention, lthough it looks perfect in the pics, here are a few minor chips and scratches in the paintfrom normal use and 6 years of time, t's not perfect. The interior is mint. The bed has the Rhino type liner in it and that could use a black rattle can, t's a bit faded in color. This car was sitting in a heated garage for almost 2 years. There was a small spot of oil under the car where it was parked, bout pancake sized. Could be valve cover but couldn't findany issueswhen on the lift. The gas was bad so we drained the tank andhad the carb. professionally re-built, hanged the oil and tranny filters and fluids, ew battery and it runs and drives mint, ice and tight. The body is straight as a arrow, ust free, lean under side, et in and go.

This car was purchased at Mecum Auctions in Illinois in 2010. I have the official bill of sale from them along with a openMissouri title from the consignor.Someone is going to get a great car for a great price. Approx. 5000 miles since fresh everything.I am selling it for a friend who boughtit for investment and it was his dream car, ouldn't resist. He is finally ready to let it go.

On Jan-28-16 at 18:58:52 PST, eller added the following information:

I just noticed that in one pic from the drivers rear of the car, ou can see paint peeling in the upper right corner of the bed.

That has since been professionally sanded, prayed and cleared in the correct paint code...In short, t's fixed.

This is a beautiful El Camino, atching #'s car that was restored to a very high standard. We're getting near my low reserve.

Thanks
