Description for Chevrolet Chevelle 1967
1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Convertible 396 Big Block | Turbo 400 Trans | 12 Bolt Rear |
Are you looking for the perfect muscle car? I started my search in the year 2000 to find THIS car. It took me more than 2 years and 1000's of miles of looking at classic cars from Philadelphia to Atlanta before I found this one! If you've been searching ... LOOK NO FURTHER! This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle "SS" Convertible has been "babied" and has been garage kept under a cover for the last 2 owners (approx 18 years). It has seen rain 1 time in the last 11 years. This beauty started life as a 327 Malibu with a 2 speed powerglide and 10 bolt rear. The man who had it before me (a dealer in Cary, C) dropped in the freshly rebuilt 396, urbo 400, nd 12 bolt rear, nd added the SS badges. He also installed the new convertible top, nd re-did the carpet and upholstery. The main thing I have done to it is rebuild the front end. It was titled (by me) in the state of SC on 7/6/2004 when the odometer showed 58,900. It currently shows 60,580 so you can tell how lightly it has been driven in the last decade. I also knew the man who owned the car prior to the dealer. He was meticulous in the way he took care of the car, oo. He was very proud of it being always garage kept and covered, o I continued that tradition. This car is extremely pretty to look at and definitely growls when you turn it over. During my entire tenure with the car, t has never been raced, bused, r in an accident. One might ask why I am selling this car. The answer is that I do not have to sell this car, t's just that my interests have changed over the years and I have new hobbies. I would like to regain some of my garage space for my new interests. It's as simple as that. Please check out the video to see (and hear) this amazing car for yourself... If you are on a mobile device or just can't see the video, bay does not allow direct links to YouTube, lease view on a desktop/laptop. Sorry for the inconvenience.
