You are bidding on an original 1970 Chevrolet Nova SS L78 396 / 375 HP, ith a Muncie M-20 4 speed manual. This is an original L78 Nova SS 396/375 horsepower car. Two copies of the original Chevrolet Broadcast Sheet were in the car and come with it. The original Holley four-barrel carburetor, inters low rise aluminum intake, istributor, ater pump, eads, uncie M-20 four-speed wide ratio manual transmission, lternator, armonic balancer, luminum bellhousing, ower brake booster, 2 bolt positraction rear end with 3:55.1 rear axle ratio, nd power front disc brakes these were all original to the car. The original block was replaced years ago with another CKO block and stamped with the Nova VIN. The Nova parts were gone through completely by professionals specializing in restoring vintage cars all components are in new condition. The Nova has been repainted in its original 75 code Cranberry Red color. The paint is beautiful. The original rear quarters were cut for drag tires, o they were replaced with NOS GM quarters that were professionally installed. All body panels, enders and doors fit perfect. The bumpers were re-chromed, ll stainless steel was polished, nd glass is perfect. The interior has the original black bench seat and not reproduction parts. The interior is excellent but not perfect. The headliner has a small easily repaired split at the seam on one corner. It has the correct 1970 Chevy II SS dated coded 14x7 JJ XT Steel wheels with Dog Dish hubcaps. The tires are new E70 Firestones with the narrow white line that are correct for the 1970 Nova. over 250,000 Nova's produced ever carried the L78 power plant for 1970. The car has a frame off restorations that took 8 years to complete. This is a fantastic car and you will not be disappointed. You are welcome to inspect it by appointment. Please do not bid unless you plan to buy. Bids are a binding contract. A $1000 down payment is due within 48 hours of the close of the auction and the balance due in 7 days. Payment must be made by Cashier's Check or Wire Transfer payable in U.S. Dollars. The Nova is sold as is no warranty is given or implied. Error in the 2nd to the last paragraph. The sentence should read. "Only 3765 Nova's of the over 250,000 produced carried the L78 engine for 1970" instead of "over 250,000 Nova's produced ever carried the L78 power plant for 1970". In the Item Specifics Section, am not sure when it was checked, ut as stated in the body of the description; there is no existing warranty for the vehicle.
