Description for Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1955
This is one 1955 Chevy hardtop custom built by Emory Ashpaugh called the "Krimson Kart"in the early 60's and in the October 1963 Car Craft magazine from the Oklahoma City car show where it placed in second in the custom class, o motor or tranny but as I was informed it sported a j2 olds motor and automatic. Features a lot of body mods from Packard tail lights, tacked headlights,Impala roof scoops, ake pipes, ubular grille, ual frenched antenna,to rolled pans and louvered hood. I dreamed of fixing the car but cant seem to find the time and would like to see it go to a good home to be restored back to its former glory. Car is fairly solid considering its age and the fact it is a hardtop, runk is solid and little rust in floors as shown in pics. I have the magazine it was in from 1963. This is a no reserve auction and high bidder gets the car. Gonna need a 500 dollar deposit through paypal within 24hrs of auctions end and the balance paid in full within 7 days. Any questions I can answer I would be glad to just call Mark at 205-965-4459. Serious inquiries only please. I can arrange shipping to you for 2 bucks a mile from 35078 Al. Don't miss this chance to get a real custom sled from the good ol days.
Alabama has never issued titles to cars pre-1975. I do have a Texas title from 1985. Will be glad to supply whatever necessary paper work to transfer to winning bidders state. Winning bidder will need to check with their local DMV to get information on whatever is necessary to complete this transaction
