1978 Corvette Indy 500 official pace car with only 55 original miles like new

Up for auction is a 1978 Official Pace Car with ONLY 55 original miles!!! Vehicle is equipped with a 350. 4 barrel. (L-48) 3 speed automatic transmission. 3. 08 axle ratio. nbsp;air conditioning. power steering. power brakes. nbsp;power windows. power door locks. intermittent wipers. tilt and telescopic wheel. nbsp;rear defogger. speed control. am/fm 8- track and power antenna. Vehicle is 100% original with the exception of the calipers. brakes (which were changed due to calipers leaking on the brake pads). nbsp;battery and the alternator. Vehicle is in outstanding original condition. It runs and drives extremely well (note I only put about 2 miles on the car). it idles and shifts smoothly with no issues! The headlight doors operate perfectly. all four headlights are original two of them are fogged out and are blown out. but I didn't want to change them since they were original from the factory. The body and paint are in excellent original condition. there are a FEW MINOR imperfections in the paint due to its age (they weren't perfect when they were new) but are extremely hard to see and is in outstanding original condition!The interior is in beautiful original condition with the exception of a few stains behind the drivers seat(see pics). Which I believe may be from changing the battery. The T-tops are in pristine condition and the weather striping is also in excellent condition. It still retains the original tires. air filter element. sunvisor jacket with operating instructions. passenger maintenance schedule booklet. limited goodyear tire booklet. pre-delivery inspection report. aluminum wheel description and maintenance instructions sheet. front license plate retainer screws still in sealed GM package. owners manual and original build sheet. This is most likely one of the lowest original mile1978 Indianapolis 500 Official Pace cars to exist! These vehicles are becoming very desirable . not to mention with only 55 miles.
