1987 Chevrolet K30 4x4 1 ton Regular Cab 8 Foot Bed. 43K miles!!!!! Department of Interior. Fish and Wildlife Vehicle. 350 Cubic Inch Throttle Body Injection (TBI) Strong with no oil leaks or funny noises. First Year for this motor last year for this body style. 4 speed manual transmission with Granny Gear(clutch is slipping. but able to be driven. maybe due from being stagnate). It has the desirable Dana 60 front axle with the 14 Bolt rearend (Dana). 4WD works perfect. Manual Hubs work perfectly as well as the transmission. I rebuilt the throttle body. cleaned out the fuel tank. put a new Holley fuel pump and replaced several fuel lines in and a new battery in it. It had been sitting for some time and with a few repairs it is up and running again. I have driven it around the block a couple of times to check it out. There is rust on the driver side rocker panel. rust holes here and there in the bed from debris and along the seem of the roof (see in pics). surface rust on the undercarriage but no major rust on frame. but for the most part very solid truck. There scratches and dents here and there the body isn't perfect. All lights work except brake lights and cab lights. Probably the switch on the pedal. the a/c is there I don't know if it works. would make a good air compressor for the trail. The power steering has a slow leak around seal. The heat has been bypassed. I have the original front bumper to the truck. The spare is currently on the truck. but the other matching tire and rim is in the bed of the truck. will see about getting it aired up. Truck has the factory 16. 5in rims with 33 BFG mud terrains 90% tread but has evidence of dry rott not severe though. Tailgate is needing some latch work/replacement. Receiver hitch is there with a 6-way plug. I have the clear Texas Title. runs and drive needs some TLC or use it for a good starter rock crawler/mud truck.
