Vinyl Interior SELLER REMARKS This really is one of the nicer C10s we've featured lately. and with all the right pieces and that vivid blue paint job. it's a good bet that this one won't last any longer than the others. These trucks have recently grabbed collectors' attention and with the desirable short bed/regular cab configuration and few deviations from stock. it's easy to see why this one might command a premium. The problem with trucks is that until recently. there was just no financial incentive to restore one to a high level. Sure. driver-grade trucks are everywhere. but this one got a TON of extra attention. making it not only attractive. but highly accurate too. The bodywork is in excellent condition. and on a vehicle that likely worked for a living. that's a critical piece of the puzzle. This one shows off that great-looking design to great advantage with the vivid medium blue paint. which was rendered in single-stage paint to give it a period look without the hard clear coat shine. It's not perfect but then again. it seems kind of silly to build a truck that's also a trailer queen. right? Lots of bright stainless trim makes this truck look cirsp and clean. including the nicely chromed bumpers and original egg crate grille and the bed is so nice you'll think twice about hauling. well. anything in it. We're really impressed with this truck. The interior was treated to the same comprehensive makeover starting with a nicely done seat cover that looks authentic. Basic black contrasts nicely with the bright blue paint. and almost every soft part inside was replaced during the restoration. The matching door panels look brand new and the black carpets are a nice upgrade that most trucks of the period didn't get. The factory gauges are in good condition with just a little fading on the needles and it does include an ultra-rare factory tach. It's also nicely optioned with fully functional factory A/C. which now uses modern components behind the scenes to make it reliable. There's an AM radio in the dash that's in desperate need of an upgrade and heavy-duty rubber floor mats to keep it looking clean and tidy. Chevy's 350 cubic inch small block V8 fits neatly in the C10's engine bay and thanks to a rather comprehensive detail job. it might just be the nicest part of an already pretty nice truck. Bright Chevy Orange paint really pops against all that medium blue on the firewall and inner fenders and a few of the usual chrome dress-up items look right at home. It's a strong runner and shows recent maintenance work such as belts and hoses. The A/C system uses R134a refrigerant for easy service and even with ram's horn exhaust manifolds. it has a very distinctive sound with dual Flowmaster mufflers underneath. A TH350 3-speed automatic transmission snaps to attention when you crack the throttle and the chassis is very nicely detailed with satin black paint. a shiny new exhaust system. and lots of new hardware. Classic Rally wheels look great on any Chevy and this is no exception. especially with fat 255/70/15 white letter radials wrapped around them. Plan on seeing more trucks restored to this level as prices continue to rise. but in the meantime. take this one home because buying it finished is still cheaper than doing it yourself and this is a seriously nice truck.
