Description for Chevrolet C-10 1972

1972 Chevrolet C10 Cheyenne Super. Original 350 4 bolt main engine totally rebuilt 30 over with small cam for sound. Magna flow exhaust. Automatic overdrive transmission 4 speed (not original). Original driveshaft fit perfectly with transmission. The transmission is a common trade out in this truck to get the 4 speed instead of the 3 speed. 4 barrel Holly carb (new). No shortcuts taken on restoration. All body work done was pulling dents out and no bondo. All seals around window and windshield are new. Basically everything is new on truck. Axels completely disassembled and restored with new seals. Really anywhere that holds fluids has new seals. New disc breaks on front with new calipers. Drums on back restored. This is full frame off restoration. The truck was completely disassembled restored and put back together. If bolts were holding something together then it was taken apart. No rust on the truck. Factory heat and air also restored and moved to give more access and view of the engine. Flat bed is solid oak planks. Truck was bought new by a man in Cullman Alabama where it was used as farm truck. It probably never went above 50 mph until after it was restored. The man gave the truck to his grandson who then restored it. This truck cranks. rides. and drives like a new car. I don't want to overstate the quality of the restoration but it is very well put together. The only real flaws I have found are the fact that the hood and doors are a little tight probably because it has new rubber all the way around. It has a little bit of wind noise coming in from the drivers side window where it appears the window isn't quite fitting into the weather stripping just right. Also the truck does not have a horn. The AC is cold and the heater is hot. This truck was originally a short bed. fleet side. olive green color with the cheyenne super equipment group. A truck with this level of restoration with a short bed would easily be worth $19. 00 to $24. 00. You can buy a fleet or step side bed new and have it painted and installed for around $4500 if you really wanted to but I really like the flat bed. there aren't any out there like it ! I have perfect feed back and have sold about a dozen cars on ebay. I want you to buy my truck but not at the risk of ruining at my reputation. I will be glad to answer any questions you may have if you will give me a call @ 256 508 4722. my name is Robert. I always recommend you have any vehicle inspected if you can't look at in person so I will be glad to accommodate any requests for third party inspections and if any major issues are found that I haven't described I will be happy to refund your inspection cost. This is an Alabama truck so per state law it will be sold with a bill of sale only as Alabama doesn't issue titles to older cars. I have sold cars to Florida. California. South Dakota. Georgia. and several other states with no problems but feel free to check with your local title clerk to verify. I will include a ton of pictures and several videos to help show the truck as acuratley as possible but if you want any specific pictures please call. Thanks. and have fun! check out the videos
