This car has just over 66. 00 original miles and has the original 283 Power-Pack Chevy V-8 engine that has a few upgrades for modern reliability. It has been a southern car since new! Never rusted! Never "restored"! It still has all of the outward appearances of a stock '57 but has many mechanical upgrades to make it drive like a modern car. Just to list a few: Electronic ignition. modern carburetor. automatic transmission (700R4) with overdrive. power disc brakes. dual master cylinder w/all new brake plumbing. front sway bar. air bag assisted rear suspension w/onboard compressor. air conditioning. radial tires. etc. It even appears to have the original carpet! All of this makes it a better long-distance highway car than a stock '57 could ever be! Close inspection of the body reveals one pleasant surprise after another!
