1968 two top, 427 Convertible, nice, minor project, cheap

Description for Chevrolet Corvette 1968

This is a real 1968 427 Convertible Corvette with both tops. It has a nonmatching big block engine that runs good. It has an automatic transmission. but was a 4-spd car originally. The car has a very good body and frame with what looks like an original nose. The paint on the car is pretty good. decent driver quality. but above average really. The interior is okay. missing some small pieces. The car runs and drives. but is still somewhat of a project. It has been sitting a long time and although it has two new calipers. the whole car should be gone through before putting it on the road. The lights and wipers are not working. It has only been driven a short distance and it might need front end work or tires. The convertible top is shot. The car needs weatherstripping. some emblems are missing. gas door. grilles etc. I have a set of rocker panel moldings and sill plates that we will try to put on the car. but I don't want anyone to think that they can just drive this vette home and put it on the road. The body. frame. engine and paint are all good and it looks great in the pictures and good in real life. but it still needs work. It is a real 427 convertible though. The factory big block radiator is there. the factory 427 rear sway bar and the big block rear end. This car could be a nice car for anyone with a little work or even a money maker for someone. I am selling it quite cheap to make room for my real love. MOPAR. so please be serious if you bid.
