Description for Chevrolet Camaro 1967
This is the muscle car that refuses to be ignored. Fully restored, learcoated to shine like a gem, erformance-built small block, ive-speed, nd awicked exhaust means this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS is one hot convertible that won't last long in our showroom. This droptop is the perfect combination of vintage looks, ixed with some nice custom touches. You instantly know that deep black is not what comes from the factory. There are so many coats of Sikkens clearcoat covering the dark paint that it looks like it's under glass at a museum. Only the straightest body panels will do on this kind of paintwork, r else you'd instantly see imperfections. That's why there was a lot invested in making sure that anything less than wonderful was replaced. Added to this is a cool custom take on the SS stripe package in an aggressive black cherry. This one combines the best of the three available factory stripes, nd it makes one cool continuous flow that will really impress at the car shows. Plus, t wouldn't be a Super Sport without the louvered hood, ront splitter, nd D80 ducktail spoiler. Of course we all love the Rally Sport's hidden headlight package. But as much as these all are cool classic Camaro features, ven the more modern car lovers will be admiring the 18" Boss wheels. If the exterior did not convince you there was a quality restoration done in the last couple of years, he interior absolutely will. Everything looks clean, lack, nd fresh, ncluding the door panels, arpeting, nd dash panel. The low-back bucket seats look like they are straight from '67, nd thanks to new padding, hey feel that fresh, oo. In between them is the desirable center console. There's also an AM/FM stereo with aux/iPod hookup to keep everyone entertained (there are some kickin' 6x9 speakers behind the fold down rear seat.) But the moment you sit down, ou know this one was specially built for the driver. It starts with the custom three-spoke steering wheel, hich has a thin construction so you can see the large AutoMeter tach behind it. Plus, here are more auxiliary gauges mounted in the middle. These are just in front of the Hurst shifter, hich is just one more clue to beast that lies within the engine bay.You know this is a serious street machine the moment you turn the key and hear the intimidating rumble of the dual exhaust. This is courtesy of a 350 cubic-inch small block V8 that was treated to some nice upgrades to deliver some serious power. This includes a .030 bored over kit, delbrock 750 CFM four-barrel carburetor, delbrock Performer RPM intake, our-bolt main, lat top pistons, luminum heads, nd 205cc intake runners. Some of these go-fast upgrades even dress up the engine bay nicely, uch as the Mickey Thompson fined valve covers, delbrock air cleaner, nd polished headers. Getting the power to the ground is a Borg Warner T5 five-speed manual on its way to the stout 10-bolt Moroso Brute Strength Positraction rear end with 3.73 gears. But this is more than just an all-out performance package. The overdrive transmission and rear end package are also the kind of upgrades that make for a fine cruiser too. You see this dual personality in other features like the power steering, our-wheel disc brakes, nd Falken Ziex tires. This first-year Camaro RS/SS convertible looks wicked on the outside, resh on the inside, nd ferocious under the hood. Best of all, his all-around performer is also set up to be the perfect Saturday night cruiser. It's everything you want, ut you might want to hurry because this is the Camaro of many other people's dreams too. Call today!!
