1979 chevy silverado. 350, speed, wheel drive, ower steering, ower brakes, ir conditioning (all there does not blow cold) This is a survivor. All original, ever modified. No rust in the cab, enders or wheel wells. There is some rust on the bed floor were a fuel tank was installed. The paint on the hood and top is very thin and has some surface rust. (see pics). Paper work in the glove box shows it was sold in Medford Oregon in 1979. Then resold from the same dealership in 1983. It then spent the next 32 years on a farm in Merrill Oregon. It was last licenced in 2006 but started and moved around the property frequently. Last year it was sold to a repair shop were it sat until I found it. It was to rust free and original to let it keep sitting but I dont have time to restore it. If you are looking for a driveable restoration project look no further. You will be hard pressed to find a better candidate. I have been driving it daily for the past month. Starts up easy. Shifts like its suppose to. Clutch is adjusted properly. Transfer case works. Hubs lock in but the right one makes some noise in a hard corner. Steers straight down the road. Brakes work. A/C is all there but does not work. Heater works. Factory in dash tach does not work. Speedometer and odometer do not work so true mileage is unknown. Has dual tanks but I have not tried to transfer fuel. Original paint with that patina everyone seems to be looking for. (Its only original once) The interior is in the same condition as the rest of the truck. Its all there but needs freshened up. The dash has cracks and the seat is torn. The glass is all good. It has the rally package. One wheel trim is missing. I have taken a picture of the glove box sticker with all the options. I have been using it for short trips but it is getting tired. I wouldnt want to take it on any long journeys. Thanks good luck on this no reserve no min. auction.

I keep getting questions on if it can be driven across country. This truck is old, riginal. and hasnt been on the road since 07. I do use it around town but I dont know it well enough to gaurantee it would drive 1000s of miles with no problems. If you are adventures enough to try it you better bring your tool box just in case.
