1969 SS 396 El Camino, A/C Car with a T5 speed, 12 Bolt Posi rear end with adjustable control arms, drive shaft loop, new shocks, bushings and H pipe after the headers. It'sa 68 396 block, oval port heads,MSD ignition, same manifold used on the 427, mild cam car really pulls and drives great !!. With the 5 speed you can becruisingat 1500 rpm's. This is a true car and one to restore. It does have rust where they normally do.solid underneath, cowl, door hinge areas, frame etc. All lighting works, 450 HP 396. Car runs extremely well and thumps...!!! Originally bench seat SS column shift A/C Car; currently the buckets look great and nice old school aluminum rims, power disk breaks, power steering. The car is a real SS. I have owned a couple and still have a real 69 396 SS Chevelle. I have done my homework, so for the ( NaSayers )and ones to beargumentative, please do not contact me to argue about it. Thank you in advance.
The car isawesomeand will be even better once some metal work and paint our thrown on. The car has no driving issues or anything, I would not hesitate to drive to GA from Orlando. The Elk is not a yard car or one that has been sitting, Idrivethe car 3 times a week. It drives straight, stops straight and does not pull out of wack.
Also that goes with the car is a new headliner and the trim for the window etc.

The El Camino needs it's normal metal repair, car is in good shape along with the drive tran, inside the door jams near the rocker, lower area etc for metal, floor pans are good and all the important things, you can drive it as you restore it or what I would do if I could just plane restore it...
