Enjoy driving it to your local car shows, or take it down the track without fear of breakage. The car has been professionally built and I have all receipts to give the new owner.
Body:
Outstanding example of a 56 BelAir 2-door hardtop. All metal and glass in near perfect condition. All stainless and chrome in near excellent condition. The body sheet metal is straight, without flaws and has no plastic body filler (bring your refrigerator magnet). The stainless is for the most part OEM with few exceptions. Stunning OEM one piece front and rear bumpers (indicative of a California car).
Interior:In keeping with the theme of a no-nonsense, radical street machine, the interior features the original dash and instrument cluster. Kirkey padded racing seats with Stroud 5-point safety harness, and Stroud driver side window net (NHRA rules compliant). You can’t help but feel the excitement when you sit down and use the overhead switch panel to turn on the fuel pump, crank over the engine and hit the ignition. And as you would expect nothing but the best, there is a full set of Autometer gauges mounted for convenient viewing. All of the interior sheetmetal is black powder coated to a beautiful luster. The transmission tunnel is easily removed to provide easy access to the transmission.
Trunk: Dual Optima Marine batteries with 12/24V marine grade solenoid (starter motor is a 24V GPE competition starter). Aluminum 10 gallon gas tank with BG fuel pump. All new stainless fuel lines tank to regulator.
