Description for Chevrolet Parkwood 1959
Selling our 1959 Chevrolet Parkwood Wagon. This an eye catching, picture taken, thumbs up, ride!!! Gets looks everywhere we go!! As you can tell it's red, with red and white interior, red headliner, red carpet throughout, red floor mats w/white bow ties. New windshield, all glass in great condition and operate as they should, tailgate window rolls up and down. Tailgate operates as it should. New antenna, new rear tailgate bow tie. New inside door handles and window cranks. New door lock knobs, all door locks work. New headlight buckets, adjusters and springs. New headlight holders and screws. New headlight harness. New engine harness. Many more new parts, take too long to list. Riddler chrome wheels, 18" front, 20" rear, 4 wheel disc brakes using rebuilt original style master cylinder, rear end completely rebuilt, drive shaft rebuilt with new carrier bearing. Transmission serviced (very clean inside, bright red fluid!!), replaced rear seal on trans. New trans mount, new governor gear, new speedo cable. Using our gps the speedometer reads correctly. All new bushings in the front and rear, new 1" front sway bar, new ball joints, new idler arm, new shocks front and rear. New 6 blade clutch fan, starter rebuilt, original generator rebuilt. New parts that go with the car that have not been installed, timing gears and chain, silicone valve cover gaskets, silicone one piece oil pan gasket, water pump, melling oil pump, intake gasket kit, generator belt, all 4 door window fuzzies, window channels, rear side glass gaskets, maybe more. I have an under dashboard a/c unit with the compressor and condenser, no hoses. It has dual exhaust with stainless tips coming out in front of rear tires. Extra steering wheel. Body is not perfect. It has some spots that can us some repair. The grille is in great shape!! Some of the trim on the front needs replacing. I have seen what some people have been trying to get out of 59 wagons that are not as complete and don't looks as good. We used this in the hot rod power tour of 2015, traveled almost 3000 miles, used 1/2 qts of oil and got 17 mpg!!! We did the the long haul. Car did terrific and got alot of attention. I'll post what pictures we have, but if you need more pics or have questions just call me at 270-320-7205. I'm sure I left something out, if so just ask. Thanks and happy bidding!!
